Today’s show was kindly judged by Jack Blackshaw & Rose Foster who did a great job of selecting the Best Steers and Best Heifers from an excellent selection of animals.  

CHAMPION  from E Townend, Scapegoat Hill, Huddersfield with the 1st Prize Steer

RESERVE CHAMPION from A Schofield, New Hay, Rochdale with the 1st Prize Heifer

The Best Steer was awarded to E Townend Scapegoat Hill, Huddersfield for a 10 month old British Blue attaining £1365 and sold to the Blackshaw Family,  2nd prize also awarded to E Townend Scapegoat Hill, Huddersfield for a 10 month old Limousin attaining £1135 and again sold to the Blackshaw Family, 3rd prize also awarded to E Townend Scapegoat Hill, Huddersfield for a 10 month Limousin attaining £910 and sold to D Holgate.

The Best Heifer was awarded to A Schofield, New Hey, Rochdale for a 11 month old Limousin attaining £1390 and selling to Liam Broster, 2nd prize also awarded to A Schofield, New Hey, Rochdale for a 11 month Limousin attaining £1210 and again selling to Liam Broster, 3rd prize awarded to E Townend Scapegoat Hill, Huddersfield for a 10 month Limousin attaining £835 and selling to DA Wilcox & Sons.

1 ORDINARY MARKET SHARE sold for £36500.
